About Safe2Thrive
Safe2Thrive is a Zimbabwean social impact enterprise dedicated to building digital resilience and well being among young people. In a world where young Zimbabweans are growing up more connected than ever, we believe they deserve more than just warnings about the internet they deserve the skills and confidence to navigate it safely and lead positive change.
Our Story
Safe2Thrive was born from a simple observation: across Zimbabwe, young people are spending more time online than ever before on WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram, and beyond but very few have received any structured guidance on how to stay safe, manage their digital well being, or become positive digital citizens. We saw a gap between the rapid growth of youth internet access and the support available to help them navigate it. Safe2Thrive exists to close that gap.
Our Mission
To equip young Zimbabweans with the knowledge, digital literacy, and practical skills they need to navigate online spaces safely and responsibly. Safe2Thrive empowers youth to recognize opportunities in the digital world while protecting themselves from risks such as cyberbullying, misinformation, and online exploitation. Through education, mentorship, and community engagement, we aim to build confident, responsible, and innovative young leaders who can use technology to uplift their communities and contribute positively to Zimbabwe’s social and economic development
Our Vision
A Zimbabwe where every young person can engage with the digital world confidently, responsibly, and resiliently. We envision a future where youth are empowered with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to navigate online spaces safely while embracing the opportunities technology offers. In this future, young people use digital tools to learn, innovate, and collaborate, becoming positive leaders who strengthen their communities and contribute to a more inclusive, secure, and digitally empowered society across Zimbabwe.
